A small but nimble consulting agency born out of necessity and market demand.  

I have been consulting independently for many years, in between executive roles with large agencies.  It gave me the opportunity to work across different industries, learn best practices, apply strategic thinking to a wide array of business challenges and work alongside some brilliant and inspiring people.  It satiated my thirst for new challenges while inspiring a wealth of learning and skills development.

The common struggles companies face

But these experience as a corporate executive and as a consultant also helped me recognize that many companies, especially the smaller to mid-size ones, struggle with setting and achieving their Marketing objectives.  I have determined this is usually because of one or more of these conditions:

  • They are in early stages of start-up and can’t afford senior Marketing leadership.
  • They have special projects but can’t distract their current team from their day-to-day mandate
  • They have a team of individual (usually junior) specialists but no strategic plan that unites them, rallies them and propels them towards a vision that drives brand awareness and lead generation

How I can help 

Through the positions I have held, and the clients I have consulted with,  I have come to realize that many companies really just need someone to help them define their Marketing strategy and to then work with their internal teams and preferred agencies (or to bring in the resources as required) to execute them. Someone who can help develop a structure, a strategy, a set of objectives and the tactical execution plan to achieve those objectives while guiding the growth of their business, brands and people.

I have done this successfully with agencies and with corporations of all sizes and I do it well.   Drawing on an extensive network of freelancers, and under my stewardship, DMG exists to help build business, brands and people.
